Hogaro

Invite-only pilot · Android

Know what's in your kitchen. Share it with your household.

Hogaro keeps track of the food you have, when it expires and what you need to buy, so you waste less and stop buying things twice. Use it on your own or share a pantry with the people you live with, for free.

Coming soon to Google Play iPhone app planned

Hogaro is in a private test. Sign-up is limited to invited testers, and the app is not yet published in either store. Questions? Contact us.

What Hogaro does today

Accurate stock

Each purchase is its own batch with its own quantity and dates, and the earliest-dated food is used first. Recording a purchase from your list updates your stock, including partial purchases, and can be undone safely.

Shared pantries, free

Invite people to a pantry and choose whether each person can edit the stock, the shopping lists or both. Mark food as “Reserve for me” so nobody else uses it. Sharing never costs extra.

Works offline on your phone

After you sign in, you can keep editing your pantry without a connection. Your changes sync when you're back online.

Shopping lists

Keep several named lists, add what's missing for a recipe in one tap, and get refill suggestions when stock runs low.

Expiry reminders

Turn on a daily reminder and your phone tells you which food expires today or within three days. Days with nothing due stay quiet.

Your recipes stay yours

Twelve sample recipes are included. Import your own from a recipe website link or pasted text. Recipes and bookmarks stay on your device and are never shared with your household.

Nutrition reference

About 800 common cooking ingredients carry approximate nutrition per 100 g from the French ANSES Ciqual tables, with reviewed USDA values filling the gaps. These are reference values, not measurements of your food.

Planned, not available yet

These are on our roadmap. They are not in the app today, and plans can change.
